My son takes pakua (another form of self defense) on mcdonald and ave I. He is there for two years. I am very happy, and he has learned a lot and gained a ton of confidence. The first class is free, so you can try it out and see if you like it.

I've recently seen ads around Flatbush for this place, but have no personal experience with it. I do like that the teacher is frum:

I would want to try it out before committing, but yes. Also, not early morning but like 11ish or something.

I am thinking of sending my son to Frum Karate in Flatbush. The video on the website looks interesting! looks like the boys are having fun and are also really learning a lot. The class is run by Mordechai Genut and his website is www.frumkarate.com.

bump again. Looking for a karate place for my son with someone experienced with active kids LOL that have a hard time following directions. Preferably the majority of kids would be Jewish but don't care if the instructor is. Thanks!
