if its not an infected rash- Desitin Original (NOT Desitin Creamy), Triple Paste, Balmex, etc- all good options
if the rash is infected, the treatment plan depends on what type of infection it is. I have dealt with bacterial, fungal, yeast, and heat rashes. Bacterial- Bactroban/ Fungal- Vusion or Nystatin (I prefer Vusion, its easier to smear)/ Yeast- what ra-mom wrote/ Heat- let the child walk around without a diaper and keep area as dry as possible
