I remember as a kid having books where I pushed the button, it read the page out loud and then said 'turn the page'. Very easy to follow along, no adult needed for early mornings, etc. I'd love to get something like that for my preschooler but can't seem to find anything like it. So far I've only looked online but maybe I'm using the wrong words for it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

There are great Jewish kids books that come with a read along CD, would that help u?

Growing up I had a few that came with read along tapes, but never saw one with a button on book itself.

I had tapes as a kid too. you can make your own- record yourself reading your childs favorite books and ring a bell (or some other noise) at the end of each page for them to turn it. I would probably pause for a short bit before ringing so they can look at pics etc.

Look for the yael / be a lite girl series, and middos man. Both come with CDs.

I have the Curious George read-along CD series, which if I remember correctly, was purchased on Amazon. (I think it was purchased 4 years ago)

You might be interested in justbooksreadaloud.com. basically a collection of YouTube videos where someone is reading a book and turning the pages. Generally, the only thing in the picture is the book. Pretty good option for screen time.

I think they've been replaced with iPad apps... sad but true.
