I've been doing office work for the past 20 years and now I feel I really need a change.
I would love to go into Interior Design but I don't want to be taking courses since I still have little kids at home and I don't feel I have the head for courses right now. I think that means that I can perhaps do Interior Decorating since that doesn't require a degree or courses but I don't know where to begin.
Do I try to get a job in a tile store just to get experience?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think you do have to take a course. I would be very hesitant to hire someone without proper training. You can get a job in a tile store if youre good at design but cant imagine much more than that.
And, its never too late to learn!
