I was wondering what it's like. I'm in the country but I hear everyone is RAVING about it.
Sounds like it was designed to perfection and there's quite the nice menu.
I heard it was designed by Dassy Schwartz - what's it like?
What's the menu like?

Sounds like you know more than the people in Lakewood. I also never heard of it.

I just heard about it too, I think it opened last week. Don't worry, you're not out of the loop! I happen to have relatives who are waaaay into their restaurants (and they said it was good).
I think it's in the old Dunkin' Donuts across from Amazing Savings.

It's amazing! Dassy did an awesome job! The ambience is just wow. Different seating areas, cool fireplace in the center...you just wanna sit and chill there all day. And the Frappes are simply heaven. Go and enjoy!!

It's a cafe. How (why?!?) would a cafe be for only one gender?

The design is beautiful, service is good, Mayb a bit slow but the coffee IMHO was not so great. I guess I'm used to French Press where the coffee/lattes are stronger and more real. My friends who r not so into coffee liked it and I heard the food is good.

Hello Boro park south |
I'm with you, naturalmom.
I don't really recognize the Lakewood of my childhood anymore. Remember when Pizza Plus was the only pizza place in town, and the eat-in area was just a bar with some stools? (Their pizza is still the best in town, IMO)

It's very cute! Like a kosher Starbucks... with sushi 😂 I didn't like the coffee, but other items looked great.

You know you can't open any type of restaurant, café, pizza shop, gas station, deli, in Lakewood and not serve sushi. "They" would probably close you down.

Not as old as you (no grey hair yet) but I still remember the first time my husband took me into the old Falafel and Chips, I almost passed out. The food was delicious, but I still can't believe I ate from there.
