We haven't been married that long and our dishes look like they're from 20 yrs ago!! The dishwasher does a great job actually cleaning the dishes, but leaves behind so many awful water stains that make the dishes look dirty! Any advice? Is there some kind of something that I can put in the dishwasher to help with that? Has to be safe for any dishes, glass, China...thanks!

Do you use rinse aid? That should help with the issue

Never heard of it, I'll check it out. Is it a detergent, or something you put aside from the detergent?

It's a liquid. You pour it in to a separate section in the door of the dishwasher usually and it dispenses it each load. You only have to fill it up every couple of months (depends how often you use it)
Here's one brand
