I'm doing camp mommy for 12 weeks this summer--- no camp for us. We go out at least once a day--- science museum, zoo, out for lunch, out for ice cream, a zillion different playgrounds, long walks, spray parks, library, the mall, chuckee cheese, grocery shopping....

but at home? reading, swingset, basketball hoop, scooters, bikes, squirt gun fights, water balloon fights, color/painting....

every day there is also a bit of ipad or tv time too. and we have behavior therapy 3 times a week and speech therapy twice a week. plus lots of specialist appointments--- tomorrow for example we're going to the nutritionist. so we certainly keep busy.

my twins are 8 but most of this works for young kids too.

If you don't have a car can you borrow one from a friend a couple days a week at least?

I'm in the city (no yard, etc) and the worst is shabbes, cooped up and you better not forget to turn on the fans because then it's too late... They have their shabbesdik games but it gets very boring for them so they misbehave etc. I have no solution. BH when I'm old I'll get out EVERY SHABBES Tongue Out
