my 2.5 year old has been sleeping through the night for a long time already and hardly ever wakes up.
for the past two nights, she has been waking up, (the first night bc she was sopping wet from her diaper, but second night not) crying out for me. I go in and hug her and calm her down, and though she is clearly tired, she refuses to go back to sleep!
She keeps saying "stay with me" "dont go" so out of complete exhaustion, I have been bringing her to my bed, and of course she sleeps nicely.
What do you think is going on? I cant handle her in my bed nightly she talks in her sleep really really loudly. And my 4 year old ALSO occasionally comes in as well.
any advice?

No awesome advice here, but this has happened with one of my kids more than once around that age and even later. She'll have nights and nights of waking up and coming to us, wanting us to stay with her. It's really annoying, but after each phase of however many nights, we train her to sleep again. I feel like it happens a few times a year.
