I remember hearing about a tomato dip where you put tomatos, garlic, onions ?, spices ? and oil in the oven, roast, and blend ?
Somthing like that.
I have a lot of cherry tomatoes getting soft and I thought it would be good for this but I'm not sure about it.
Anyone have something more concrete?

I broil cherry tomatoes (halved), garlic(chopped or crushed), olive oil, and salt. Till slightly blackened, mixing every so often.
Either leave as is or blend
