My baby's neck is all red and it also often wet and now I see it also on the back of one knee. I will ask the doctor but until then anyone know what it could be?

Fungus? Keep it dry with a washcloth and put some baby powder on it. Definitely show it to a dr. He may be able to give you a medicated cream.

Definitely take him to the doctor especially if it's in two places. Sounds like fungus. The areas affected are closed off areas in chubby babies and he made need to be washed more often, between the folds. At this point it sounds like he needs some topical treatment.

This is normal in the heat, especially if baby is chubby.
You must keep those "creases" very dry, all the time.
Sprinkling baby powder should so the trick.

If it has a smell (rotten cheese), it probably needs lotrimin. one of my chubby babies had this on the neck and behind the knees also. Take baby to ped anyway just so that he can give you in depth instruction.
