Is there anyone here who is very familiar with the Ramot area and can recommend a Modern Orthodox (or close to it, just not Chassidish/Charedi) shul that is a walkable distance from Ramot Polin?

There is in Ramot Bet, but I think it's a bit of a trek.

Thanks! Do you know the name or address? I'd like to try to google map the walk.

It might be the Ateret Zion Shul, not sure. I just did a map search in the right area. I was there one time more than 3 years ago.

Thanks. Someone just recommended me a shul in a Bnei Akiva building on the corner of Derech Hahoresh and Tsondek (sp?) in Ramot Bet but they didn't know the name or address. Have you heard of that one?

Ther is Rav Asher Weiss's shul- he's charedi but the crowd is all types, from chaassidish to masorati and e/t in between....It's just a bit closer than Ramot bet is to Ramot Polin.
There is a beutiful dati leumi carlbach style minyan in the Wizo building in ramot Bet (not the wizo in gan hakipod- in the other one)....
Ateret Zion is sephardic nusach if your comftorable with that- fri. night isn't so different but shabbos day is.
I wish I had more exact address's for you

byisrael, is this the DL Carlebach one you mentioned? http://godaven.com/detail.asp?Id=1204

We are 90% chance going to my inlaws for Rosh Hashana and I don't feel comfortable in their shul. Usually I stay home when we are there for Shabbat but I really want to go shul for RH. They won't be offended if we go somewhere else but they won't be able to help us find anything that's outside of their scene. All of these have been really great suggestions, I'm researching all of them, thanks a lot!
