I don't like wearing tights and I can tolerate thigh highs. I have a bunch of pairs of nude sheer thigh highs and black, not thick, tights. I don't like wearing the tights, but I need them sometimes. Are there any brands of thigh highs with the thickness of tights that stay up? I use berkshire for the sheer ones.

Check the Sock Dreams website. Their quality and customer service are the best I've ever found. I've been using them for over 20 years now, and I won't buy socks or stockings from anyone else. If you wear skirts below the knee, look at their knee high socks in opaque solid colors. They are indestructable!
