Yes, $26,000 each per year per student for high school. And that's not the high end for high schools. And my husband and I both work full time. I often work from home in the evenings and on Sunday.

To the person who asked, $62K is for one year at Penn engineering. This includes the dorm and a basic meal plan (3-4 meals a week).
This is for a super-hard working and gifted student.

I only have one child in school. Last year was $380/month for playgroup. Nursery is $5700 for the year, but kindergarten next year jumps to $11,000.

Ivy league universities do not as a rule offer merit based scholarships.
B"H we have saved for a long time, live a frugal lifestyle and choose to spend on education.
Anon because how many imamothers have daughters at Penn engineering?
Actually, maybe a bunch, because she is definitely not the only frum girl in the engineering school.

Man prices have gone up. When I went to Columbia Engineering 20 years ago it was $24,000 a year for tuition, room and board.

DS in Mesivta high school + dorm OOT asking: $19,000 I pay $5,500. I was told this is the lowest they go and was given this price due to extenuating circumstances.
