Hi.
Has anyone got a recipe for shabbos lunch using potatoes and beef/chicken breast.
I don't want tshulent or kugel or anything of soup because I will serve a soup already.

Not a recipe, but an idea. Maybe some type of roll using mashed potatoes layered with browned ground meat and onions. Roll up like a deli roll, sprinkle with some paprika, bake, and slice to serve. Or is that too much like a kugel?

My mother likes to make this dish for yom tov...
Meat cut in chunks, potatoes cut in quarters, baby carrots, onions chopped, spices like salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder... Mix together and bake covered
you can add other vegetables

Not sure how long
stick a fork in a potato and/or a carrot, if it's soft it's ready.
