I don't bake a lot and need to do some desserts for RH. Help! Dairy is fine. Can I freeze it? Best way? Other suggestions? No almond or amaretto flavoring please.

This is a bundt cake recipe but I've made it in a loaf pan as well and it has a nice, dense texture. it's parve, so it doesn't have the rich, buttery flavor of a true pound cake, but it's a really decent stand-in.
Heavy Marble Bundt Cake from the first Pupa cookbook
Cake
3 Eggs
2 cup Sugar
1 cup Orange Juice
1 cup Oil
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
3 cup Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
Marbleizing:
½ cup Cocoa
½ cup Sugar
¼ cup hot Water
Preheat oven to 325F.
Mix all cake ingredients on medium speed, until smooth. Pour 3/4 of batter into a well greased bundt pan.
Mix marbleizing ingredients. Combine marbleizing mixture with remaining 1/4 of batter.
Pour cocoa batter over batter in the pan. Marbleize by dipping a spoon deep into pan about every 2 inches all around.
Bake for 1 hour.
Cool Cake for 20-30 minutes.
Turn cake over on a tray or plate.

I bake a pound cake every two weeks. It's my go to desert. I just took a blueberry orange one out of the oven. I'm old school I use a pound of eggs, sugar, butter and flour. I sift the flour with a teaspoon of baking powder, a teaspoon of baking soda and a pinch of salt . I cream the butter and sugar and then add the eggs alternating with flour. I always add vanilla. I bake in a two pound commercial bread pan but you can use a bundt.
Sometimes I'll pour half the batter in the pan and add a layer of chopped nuts with brown sugar and cinnamon. Or some fruit slices. Other times I'll add 1.5 cups of chopped apples and cinnamon, or lemon zest and poppy seeds.

Moosewood Cookbook's Pound Cake
(makes 1 large bundt pan or 3 loaf pans, which is plenty for such a rich cake. Delicious!)
1 lb. butter or margarine, softened (4 sticks)
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
4 c. flour
1 c. milk or soy milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract (can also use almond, lemon, butter-flavor or maple)
2 tsp. baking powder
Preheat oven to 350 F, then spray pan(s).
Cream together butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs.
Add 2 cups of flour and beat well.
Mix in milk and extract.
Add remaining flour and baking powder. Beat well.
Pour into pan(s).
Bake 55-60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
___
If you make lemon extract version, you can add poppy seeds to it. Yum!
I also make a marble version of this by adding some melted chocolate to a portion of the batter.
