Yes indeed. Until EBAY clamped down on it, there was a VERY lucrative business of selling used shoes. The people who were selling it ran it like a Mafia by getting listings not in the group kicked off.

They had "fantasy" listings for people who had fetishes for both male and female shoes and the listings would go into elaborate descriptions of how the shoes had been worn. They would have pictures of the legs and they were usually described in ways that were intended to appeal to prurient interests - a LOT of cheer leaders were selling their shoes :-)

My friend and I had a funny lunch where we briefly discussed gathering our shoes and making up a description using my friend as a model - she had great calves :-) but of course we never did it. But it was astounding how much a shoe with the right description would sell for.

No the man I saw purchasing the item did appear to inspect the package before putting it in his breast pocket.

Part of the fun is the anticipation of getting them home, and then once your are alone you can open the sealed package and enjoy.

Seriously, if my jewelry business does not pick up soon, I'm going to branch out into a new line of work. Wink
