Previous amother, where did you get that info? Would like to be on their list!
Just so you know, bais yaakov of the east side us actually very close to Brooklyn. It is right near a train station and the train ride is generally smooth and fairly quick depending how far you're coming from. I've heard people decline positions there whentheyhear "Manhattan" but that's just silly, getting around even within Brooklyn can take at least that long.

I need a P3 provider for my son. It would be after 2:30 but I am willing to pay cash as well, besides for the money you would be getting from the board of ed

That's illegal.

That's quite illegal. It actually says on the form the parents have to sign that they will not provide any additional payment or other compensation to the provider, and the part that the provider/agency have to sign says they are not allowed to accept more than the allotted rate or make any other request of the parent.

Thanks. But I can actually pay without it being illegal.

Sorry, but I don't think there is any way to get around this... you can hide what you're doing but that doesn't make it right. Of course I'm sure plenty of people probably do this and don't get caught or anything, but it isn't right.
There is a legal way to advocate for an enhanced rate if you are unable to find a provider at the regular rate. This keeps things above board and accomplishes the same thing, just with a little more headache but without added expense to you (because you were going to pay out of pocket anyway, so why not pay an advocate to negotiate for you legally instead?)
