Which one broke? Im replacing my Pro Chef pump pot (pump pot lid has to be replaced all the time. It stops pumping, when water/steam gets in) with a West Bend 55 cup Urn, and buying it at Bed Bath and Beyond, because their customer service is very good. I happened to have gotten a 20% off coupon just today for BB&B. I think their coupons are pretty easy to find.

Personally, I feel that a pump pot is safer than an urn, if there will be kids around.

It's not in the reach of kids and I don't mind getting either

I try to turn the spout away from the edge of the counter, for safer use of the urn when small kids are around.
