Someone mistakenly cut open a very unripe avocado. Is there any hope left for it? Anything to do with it?
And there are another two, all of these were bought about or more than a week ago, and they are just not getting ripe! It's pretty warm in my kitchen, so that's not doing it...

For the other two, place then in a brown paper bag, in a dark place (back of cabinet) for 2 days. They should ripen beautifully.

Sorry, there's no hope for an avocado once it's cut open.
Avocadoes that are picked too soon have a hard time ripening. Add an apple to the paper bag and that will help speed things along. Check it every day, because there's a very fine line between "perfect" and "black and mushy".

If you add an apple or banana the off gassing will ripen it quickly.
