I'm a novice and just made water dough but forgot the oil!! Is there any way to save this dough?
I am putting in plastic bag in refrigerator just in case. Any help is so appreciated!!!

a friend of mine davka adds the oil at the end- after she mixes e/t else. her challahs are always delicious

just mix it in now. (im assuming that you havent cooked it yet)

Ok. It's a very tough dough and a little flat and dense. maybe good for a flatbread? So I will proceed as usual and see what happens. Maybe a new recipe in the making!! Thanks for your replies.

Bumping this up. My challos are baking now, and I realized that I forgot the oil. Is there a chance of my challos tasting ok??

Totally not a problem! Changes texture not taste. They'll be fine!

They should be fine! Plenty of bread recipes don't call for oil, anyway. I think in some countries it's illegal to label something as "bread" if it contains anything other than flour, water, salt, and yeast.

I have done that & came out totally fine (this was egg challah, not sure how would be if water challah)

Low Fat I'm sure we all need it after so many days.
Now if someone comes up with a recipe that forgets the flour I would like that one.😃
