We're expecting a girl after 10 yrs of waiting. BH! I feel like there are many more boy names that imply thanks or Hashem's help (ie. Yehuda, Eliezer,Ezriel, etc). Any suggestions for girls names with these meanings?

After experiencing IF we named our twin daughters Eliana (אליענה with an ע) and Bracha. Both named after relatives, in a way, but first and foremost both so named due to the great blessing we experienced by Hashem finally answering our prayers.

Wow so beautiful, Mazal tov!! May everything go smoothly! Names I could think of: odeya, Odelia, hodaya, nessa (from nes, meaning miracle), eliana. I'm sure I could think of more but that's for now.

B'Shah Tovah!

I am going to suggest my own name: Chanah.

Every Shabbos, after lighting candles, I recite Chanah's prayer (from Sefer Shmuel) and that conveys thanks. (Within the narrative, it is Chanah's thanks for her son.)

Chanah did give us the blueprint for davening, and I also like to think for some level of thankfulness too.

Thought of more. I know ppl with these names: netanela and netanya (both meaning GD has given). Also matanya (gift of GD). Chava means life, pair that or Chaya with another name, could be beautiful, for example, matanya Chaya/ Chava netanela. Mix and match!
