My DH is a loud snorer. I cant sleep in any other bed other than my own. I wait until im exhausted enough to fall asleep despite the loud noises.

That happens here, too. Terribly frustrating!
I have a noise machine but it annoys me.
Does the snoring wake you once you're asleep?

im a terribly light sleeper. I cant sleep with a noise machine either.

Big hugs from a fellow insomniac. One thing I don't do when I can't sleep is go online. Sleep specialists say to stay away from a screen as early as 2 hours before you want to go sleep. I make sure to have reading material I enjoy so that at least if I'm up, and I read for a half hour or so, I have an enjoyable experience.
