I am looking for ideas for a place to donate a new sefer Torah (It will be a sefardi kesav one).
Maybe somewhere that it can make good use . . .
For chayalim in Israel? A Jewish orphanage? A new shul?
My husband is a sofer, and my mother is raising money for him to write a Torah in the next few years. BH our community doesn't need a sefer Torah, but we would love to donate one to a community in need.
