why do I get addicted to TV? I am very addicted to a show called Once Upon A Time. I don't want to be addicted anymore. I used to be addicted to Harry Potter too.

if it makes you feel any better...THOSE ARE AMAZING SHOW/BOOK 
don't feel bad. we all need an outlet, just review how "obsessive" it really is.

No! It does not make me feel better! I want my life back! do not want to think about dark one daggers and curses! when HP was being written, I was so obssessed it was bad for my family! I do not want this. I want OUT!

I stopped watching ouat when Neal died. that got me out of my addiction. (although I will still watch it when Bea comes back and there is an actual happy ending to the show)
I love harry potter, btw.

Harmless diversion. Why call something enjoyable that doesn't harm you or anyone else an addiction which has negative connotations? The TV show occupies 22 hours per year?
Would you lie or cheat or steal to watch the show? Are other important aspects of your life neglected to satisfy your insatiable lust to watch the show? LOL
