Wow, are you me?? You have excellent taste!!

I'm not usually drawn to things filled with pareve cream (ex. yodels, napoleons, mousse trifles etc.) since they seem EVEN MORE unhealthy than comparatively "real" things like cookies or pecan pie or chocolates, and pareve cream often doesn't taste good enough to be work the calories anyway.

And I don't go for things that are unnatural colors, I.e. turquoise or hot pink frosting, even though I appreciate a coordinating color scheme from an aesthetic perspective. Those just are edible decorations to me, not the "wow, I must have one before they're gone" delights.

I found a delicious lemon bar recipe here! I made it for Shabbos. Just decrease the sugar, increase the lemon juice and use powdered sugar in the cookie part instead of granulated. Cut in small diamonds to be fancy.
Dust with powdered sugar when hot, it covers any imperfection.
