Help- my challah dough is alive!!

Bread machine just finished making the dough- took the insert and all of a sudden the dough started bubbling up and suddenly sunk down as if something was sucking it out from the bottom. This has never happened before- any ideas. The dough also looks really wet and sticky....

sounds like an air pocket. add flour to make it less sticky

Thanks- That extra flower seemed to help- hope it will taste ok.
