My husband is thankfully a very hands on father. Recently however, it's been a nightmare.
Somehow the kids just don't listen to him which understandably makes him go bezerk and totally lose his temper. Followed by hysterical kids screaming for mommy and scared of him.
I try talking parenting ideas to him and he is receptive and hears me and tries to implement it, but somehow it's not working. My kids say themselves that they listen to mommy not tatty. And it's not that I'm tough, I'm not. They just know when I mean business.
Any advice for us???
Nevermind the fact that I also get mad at him when he loses his temper after 10 mins of being with them, after I was patient all day!!
