Can Yellow Klondike potatoes be substituted for Yukon Gold. No one in BP has decent sized Yukon Gold potatoes that Im aware of. And the little ones take forever to peel.

I've found that best kugel is half Idaho, half Yukon Gold.

Are you finding decent size Yukon Gold? The ones I see are very small.

Just as an FYI YGs are meant to be picked on the small size, larger potatoes of this variety are susceptible to hollow heart and other maladies.
