Just lots of whatever you usually put in. Lots of meat, sautéed onion/garlic, gizzards, bar b q sauce, ketchup, when all ingredients are in, take cocktail franks put them into a bag, knot it and put it into the pot. Right before serving remove from the bag and mix with chulent. It's delicious!

WARNING: If you use chicken gizzards aka pupicks, you must first soak them in plenty of water to leach out the salt, otherwise your cholent will be inedible. Trust me on this.

2 pkg cholent bean mix
bones
8 potatoes, peeled and chunked
2 large onions, chopped
5 garlic cloves, chopped
brown sugar
ketchup
water
1 1/2 cups barley
3 tablespoons salt
meat
kishke
water
Place the beans in large pot. Cover with water. Bring to boil, covered, and cook 5 minutes. Turn heat off and let stand covered for 1 hour. Rinse and drain thoroughly.
Place bones in crockpot. Add beans, potatoes, onion and garlic. Add brown sugar and ketchup, then add water to come to top of pot. Pour in barley, pushing just below the surface, but not pushed all the way to the bottom. If necessary add more water to come to the top.
Sprinkle with salt.
Top with meat and kishke.
Cover crockpot and turn to HIGH. Switch to LOW before shabbos and leave until ready to serve.
Let me know how big your crockpot it and I can adjust accordingly. This would fit in a 15 quart.
