Is the chicken stock I froze for Pesach still good/safe to use today?

If you google how long freeze chicken soup you'll find this and other hits. It seems to confirm what I was going to write anyway, that it's safe, but the quality might not be the same.

I'm cracking up, because I, too, defrosted chicken soup from Pesach this shabbat. But it smelled and tasted funny, so we didn't eat it.

How cold is your freezer?
My suggestion is, like juggling did, defrost it and take a taste.
We keep things for a long time, too.

Update: The frozen chicken stock was fine. The frozen pieces of meat looked a bit dessicated, so I strained them out.
I heated up the stock & it tasted fine & worked well as the base for a barley - mushroom -leek soup.
