I recently moved into a house that came with a Washing Machine and Dryer, but I had my own. The seller implied that they work, but I didn't run a full cycle before unplugging and moving them to the basement, so I can't guarantee that they work. Now I'm looking to get rid of them. They're in the basement, so you'll need to carry them upstairs.
Willing to part with them for the best offer (even if its free). If you do pay and it turns out it doesn't work, I'll give you back the money. I just want them out 
Update with some info:
Both are top-loading
Washing Machine: Kenmore 600
Dryer: Whirlpool Gold Ultimate Care II

our house came with a washing machine. we just wanted it out. we advertised it for free on craigslist and someone who picked up scrap metal came and took it away.
