For very intellectual 9 & 7 year old. They are into anything science, robotics, geography, maths etc. They already have a large snap circuits collection. I've been thinking of a microscope kit and maybe a talking globe? I'm having a hard time sifting through reviews... I would greatly appreciate any recommendations or other ideas! Up to 100$ each. TIA!

There are some really cool Lego robotics kits. Mighty expensive as far as I recall but if you combine your budget and give them one to share that could be really fun for them to do together.

Do they live near any spectacular museums? there are some really phenomenal science museums that have pretty expensive admission, I would have loved a membership or tickets to one as a gift.
