DD is about to begin treatment with him. She has an appointment next month to get her braces on.
So far (just a consultation + his subsequent reading of her somewhat complicated x-ray) he's been very pleasant to work with and he explains everything in great detail. DD took to him easily. (She did not like another local orthodontist in a different office who we also saw for a consultation). He seems to be very good with kids.
I obviously can't speak to the final outcome or even the treatment process but his practice appears to be booming.

We have and are currently, and we (DH and I and the kids) recommend him highly! He is excellent professionally, is great with the kids and he will work with you on the cost so you don't have to sell your kids to pay for their orthodontia  .

I also highly recommend him, two of my kids used him. He is a mensch and a perfectionist.
He practices both in New York and Israel.
One of my daughters had started with braces in New York and went to seminary, where she saw him regularly in Israel.

For all issues that come up when he is not around there is a dentist that covers for him.
We have not had any problems that the covering dentist wasn't able to resolve.
