It's time for a new cookbook (or two)...which do you recommend?

I'm sick of my Shabbat chicken, dessert, and vegetable side dishes and my weekday munchies (muffins, cookies, etc.). I guess weekday dinner ideas are always good too.

My favorite kosher cookbook is Fresh and Easy. Mostly everything is budget-friendly, simple but fun, and yummy. But I do find it more dinner friendly than Shabbat friendly.
I'm not crazy about the Bais Yaakov Cookbook...I found the recipes either expensive or uninspiring (though I did find a few keepers).

I do like glossy pictures and stuff to read but I think I need inspiration more.

Here's what I've been thinking (in order):
Spice and Spirit (seems to be all encompassing and GOOD. Lack of pictures is a little disappointing but manageable because of its breadth.)
Dining In (My sil swears by 1. How's 2? Again lack of pictures disappointing but they're supposed to be good recipes.)
And don't know much about these but they're intriguing:
Family Table
Balabuste's Choice 1 or 2

I'll take other ideas too!

I like spice and spirit. My only critique is that because it's an older cookbook, it calls for a bunch of ingredients I don't like to use much (like margarine or whip or lots of sugar in savory foods). But the recipes are good, classic, and really tasty.

I really enjoy:

The Silver Platter -- great for weekday lunch/dinner, not as much shabbos stuff. Lots of cookies, cakes, and bars, as well

Dining In 1 and 2-- use them a lot, for weekday and shabbos

Balabuste's choice 2, great for weekday and shabbos

I love the Family Table. It has a lot of fun ideas for Shabbos, Yom Tov, and regular dinners.
