I asked for 200grams of goat cheese. The girl unwrapped the brick of cheese so fast that the cheese fell to the floor. She picked it up and cut me the chunk of cheese, wrapped it up, and put in up on the counter in front of me.

shock

"Can I get you anything else?"

"200grams of this (other) goat cheese."

She didn't drop it this time. Cut, weighed, wrapped. Set it on top of the other chunk of cheese. I took it, and left the first package just sitting there. She followed after me and said, "You forgot your cheese."

Confused Confused Confused

Really? She really thought I would take the cheese that fell on the floor?? Rolling Eyes

Think of everything that goes on in restaurants and catering kitchens, etc. that you don't see. I bet you've eaten cheese from the floor before.

That said, knowing it hit the floor, I wouldn't want it either.

Miracle Mama you're probably right. But I guess what we don't know won't hurt us? Confused

I subbed in some day cares recently, and you don't want to know what goes on there.

I know exposure to germs can strengthen the immune system. But then again, you never know which nasty germ will make you pretty sick.
