Can anyone offer some insight? Right now I own a simple point n shoot camera which I'm totally unhappy with. Im mainly looking for a great camera that would take beautiful pics of my kids.
Any recommendations?
And is it Canon or Nikon?

We got the Sony alpha 6000. Dh researched it for a while and went with this one. But it was 1.5 years ago and there might be a better model by now. It's great. Pics come out so much better, more proffessional and I by no means know what I'm doing.
