We have a lot in the Monsey area and are thinking of pre fabricated homes. What I know about these houses are that it might end up cheaper and can be ready sooner. Anyone familiar in these things?

Are you talking modular wood frame or modular concrete panels or some thing like a Lindal Cedar home (post and beam kit)? Check local zoning rules and see if they are permitted.
