I load so many vegetables on top that I don't need a side dish.
Many would serve a salad though.

soup-so many different options- veggie, mushroom, mushroom barley, potato, onion, etc.
Salad
Homemade french fries or baked sweet potatoes
mushroom or veggie quiche
So many options for rounding out a pizza meal.

Pasta of some sort. Penne ala vodka, Alfredo fettuccini , baked ziti or lasagna

pizza is basically carbohydrates, fats, and some protein. to make a more well-rounded nutritious, and satisfying meal, you would need to add vegetables and more protein.
you can accomplish this with a lentil soup or a split-pea vegetable soup. both of these are starchy, but not the unrefined carbs found in pizza and pasta. you could also serve a simple salad and a fish option, or a salad with some protein in the form of nuts, seeds, quinoa, lentils, etc.

A filling avocado salad.
Or a large leafy salad with some protein sprinkled on top. Like sliced eggs, flaked tuna, cubed salmon, feta cheese...
