Hi. I want my laundry to smell fresh -- but not flowery or fruity (if that make sense to anyone). I use tide detergent which leaves laundry clean but without smell...tried downy mountain spring and downy clean breeze but dont like those. Any suggestions? Tia.

Have you tried using a softener? Suavitel has a wonderful one.
But I would only use softener on underwear, socks, pjs, towels.... Not fancy things.

I love method detergents. They have a light, fresh scent. They also make a wonderful dryer activated fabric softener spray.
If you want something with a stronger scent, I recommend downy unstopables.

I love the scent of Wisk detergent. Really fresh. And really likes the way it cleans too.

Neither. It's scent beads that you pour in the wash with your detergent.
