My daughter got her first tooth a 4 months
My freinds daughter still didnt have teeth at 18 minths... she would send a sandwich with her child to play group cut in little peices so the child could eat it... the child is now 10 yars old , had full set of baby teeth and has adult teeth now... it doesnt hurt to mention it next time your at the pediatrition abd see what they say...

One of my kids didn't cut his first tooth until he was 17 months old...by the time he was 2.5 he had all of them and barely suffered from teething at all.

No since it doesnt seem to be in her way. She eats anything that I'd have given her had she had teeth. Babies gums are very strong. I don't give her peppers or carrots if not cooked but she eats bite size chicken, I give her breaded chicken nugget... and she bites off as she eats... same with bread and other food.
#2 my mil keeps saying that her oldest got the first tooth at 16m or so, so I guess it can happen altbough in my family I don't think anyone got this late teeth.

I've heard that there is no disorder or disease in which a person does not get teeth. you therefore don't have to worry. She will get teeth when she gets teeth!

When my DD was 12 months and still had no teeth, I asked my uncle, who is a dentist if I should be concerned. He told me; 'they all get teeth by the time they are five'. She got her first tooth a week later.

Mine was 13 months. My dr also said not to worry until 18 months and then they might do an xray. He said it's pretty rare that the dont come.
