I'm looking for a potato knish recipe like the frozen circle ones you can buy. It's not really a flaky dough, something different.

I don't know but I can't wait to try it! I've been wanting something like this.

ETA: So I looked at the recipe. Dough is definitely different. Maybe it rolls thin. And the turmeric probably adds a nice punch. But I would think that a big part of a real knockoff recipe would be the filling. X amount of potatoes and onions with salt, pepper and whatever to taste doesn't sound too significantly different from other recipes I have that don't claim to come close to the frozen ones.
Probably still delicious. And maybe if you bake them, freeze them, then reheat them they'll have more of that frozen thing going for it.
