Washing instructions on my coat say to dry it with clean tennis balls. I don't have any. It's already in the washing machine because it was desperate. What can I use instead?

I once threw in a half dozen beanie babies. Worked like a charm. ( Just don't tell dd I used her little teddy bears!)

OK... if I had dryer balls I obviously wouldn't be asking this question, and I never knew there was such a thing as old shoes being clean. I'm a little nervous that putting the kids' beanie babies in the dryer might ruin them, did yours stay nice and soft?

You can try balls of aluminum foil. Don't worry abt squeezing it tight because as it rolls around in the dryer it will compress

Put a sneaker in a pillowcase. Same effect and you don't have to worry about the dirt on the shoe, as long as there aren't clods of it.
