There's a recipe in KBD Kid in the Kitchen I think. It tastes pretty good but keep in mind the cucumbers here are different so texture is tricky.

Half Sour Pickles

3/4 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup kosher salt
4 garlic cloves
2 sprigs fresh dill
2 tablespoons pickling spice
6 kirby cucumbers
water

Pour the vinegar and salt into the container. Mix with a fork. With a garlic press, mince the garlic into the container. Add the whole sprigs of dill and the pickling spices. Place the whole, unpeeled cucumbers into this pickling liquid. Add water to cover the pickles. Cover the container and place into the refrigerator for 10-12 days. Pickles can keep in the refrigerator for 3 weeks.

Did you actually try this recipe? I'd love to make pickles and all the recipes I've seen were complicated. This one looks so easy, too easy almost. Do you know the results?

I tried it a couple of years back with my daughter. I think we enjoyed it but it was a long time ago and don't remember the details.
