the topic says it all. looking for books that help children learn to speak the truth. for a child of 7 yrs and older.
one that came to mind is 'eli and the little white lie'
can you recommend anything more?

If you're interested in CDs (for listening), R' Fischel Schachter has one called "My Name is Emes" thats interesting and funny.

I see someone already posted about the Berenstain Bears and the Truth. I am not a fan of many of their books (mainly because of the role of Papa Bear as a dufus), but this one is really great. It focuses on the idea that if you tell lies you betray the trust that people have in you.

princess kim and too much truth is a great book because it talks about how to tell the truth without hurting others feelings. I would do a search at your local libraries website. I am sure there are tons of books on telling the truth as it is a struggle for most kids.
