Do you want more of an icing kinda glaze? Such as buttercream?
Or something shiny - such as ganache.
Ganache will stay "wet" but it will thicken and not be runny.

I have a very easy glaze that is like the cupcakes from the bakery, chocolate glaze that allows you to put sprinkles on top, but dries out. I use it whenever I send cupcakes r school with my kids for a party... I will post soon, because I dont remember the exact amounts, but it basically water, oil, cocoa, confection sugar

Chocolate glaze:
6 tablespoons boiling water
6 tablespoons oil
6 tablespoons cocoa
3/4 box confection sugar
Mix well. Add more confection sugar if its too water or a bit more water if its too thick.
Dip the cupcakes to cover and allow excess to drip off. Dip them in sprinkles. Set aside to dry. If its too thin and watery the icing will drip down the sides of the cupcake. So make sure its thick enough.
I leave out the cocoa and add a bit of vanilla sugar for a white glaze. I also usually make half the recipe and have enough to cover about 30 regular size cupcakes.
Enjoy.

How much is in a box of confectioner's sugar? I doubt it's the same in Israel as in the US.
