Looking for a good Epilator. Which one is good? Will it give me that sleek results? Is it very painful? Tia

I use the Braun Silk Epil on my legs. I love it. I would not dare try it on any other body part.... seems too painful! But on my legs it is good, not too painful and works great.

Maybe go on Amazon and order the latest model of the braun silk-epil? Thats what I do. I figure the newer it is, the better it is.
The model I have is the silk-epil 5.

Does it give you that sleek result that shaving gives?

Super sleek! Love the results. Much better than shaving. Give it a try.

How often do you use it? Is it messy (like do the little hairs get everywhere)?
How long does it take to do both legs?

I have a braun one, it is old though (was the latest model when I bought it) but works great.
I use it for legs and underarms, too painful anywhere else.
It takes me these days about 7 minutes a leg. Doesn't make a huge mess I usually do it on my bed or floor and just use a brush and pan for stray hairs. Then clean the head of the machine in the bathroom.
In the beginning it took me longer to use though. About 15-20 minutes a leg.

Look into those by Braun, Epilady and Phillips.
You have the shaving one and the epilating one.

I don't know why I could never get it to work for me. It kills, breaks the hairs instead of removing, grows back quickly and takes forever. I rarely use it.

Good points. Some people have deeper roots, or more fragile hairs that break off, and hormones will make a difference in how fast your hair grows back. People have different pain tolerances, too. Don't forget, ingrown hairs can be very nasty and painful.

what brand? which model? if it breaks the hair instead of removing from the root, then yes it will grow back quickly. no different than shaving then.
