Husband and I are going through tough times... Were looking to get away for an extended weekend. Something beautiful!! Doesnt have to be expensive... and not something too typical where well meet the entire world.. like miami. I dont mind a short flight out of ny either... any suggestions would be appreciated... Real Mitzvah too!

Assuming you want a minyan at least for Shabbos and also beautiful and warm, but not too long of a flight (which rules out the West coast) but not Florida, there aren't so many options left. Would you go to the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Cancun, or Costa Rica (I believe all have Chabads)?

Its hard to make suggestions for a "beautiful" getaway when we don't what you mean. Scenic views? Interesting architecture? Since school is in session, you might want to try going to a hotel near a college with a chabad/jlic. Call before to make sure that all the orthodox minyanim you need do take place each Shabbos.

You can check out this page, which lists hotels that are near shuls in all sorts of communities, and hopefully find something that meets your needs:
