Does anyone have any special products they use or some tips on how to whiten teeth yourself?
I really really want nice white teeth but cant afford right now to get it done by a dentist.
Anyone have any alternative ideas?

Brush your teeth every night with a little baking soda. After three days you should see a difference.
Pour a little baking soda into your palm and add a few drops of water to form a paste and brush you teeth in it. Or pour a little baking soda into your palm and dip a wet toothbrush into the baking soda. Much healthier for your teeth than a dentist whitening and cheaper. Just beware it tastes awful so try not to get anything on your tongue.
