So it seems a lot of people like the nose piercings. If we all started doing it, it wouldnt stand out as much and be an issue, no?

I think we thought we were the "odd" ones cuz we like it. I find it classy if done properly, not much different then wearing nice classy earrings.

I say we make it a thing.

I have a small nose stud. I get a lot of positive feedback, although maybe some people say negative things behind my back. A VERY conservative woman that I know once said "You know? I really like it. Maybe when Moshiach comes I'd love to get one."

Excuse my ignorance, but seriously, isn't a nose ring uncomfortable? How do you blow your nose? What

Yes please let's make it a thing!!! I have been thinking about getting a nose stud for a while now.
I have several ear piercings which I wear without shame and a belly button piercing which is obviously only for DH and me. I dont see anything wrong with it, tbh it keeps me feeling normal especially when I am feeling jaded about living a "frum" life which is a lot these days...

Tiny nose studs are very common among young DL women in Israel.

Not my thing, but definitely not weird in my circles.

I usually use a tissue, don't you? (Although I know people who still use hankies.)

I find my nose ring a lot more comfy than my regular earrings.

Totally agree. I like the tiny stud type by the top of the nostril. It's almost like glitter..I find it to be pretty!

So does my son!!
I am already practicing biting my tongue and smiling when he brings home Miss Nose Ring.

As long as you don't have a tongue piercing, because that would sound painful.

Is it so important to me that I'm willing to embarrass my son?

My kids are all adults with families of their own.

And yes it is that important to me.

Maybe it's a matter of taste, but to me, a nose stud looks like a pimple. And besides I don't have a nicely shaped nose, so I wouldn't want to put on anything that would draw attention to it.

Those of you with belly rings how does it look in pregnancy? Do you have to take it out? Anyone else out there whose bellybutton is completely messed up from pregnancies?

I have a belly button piercing and for pregnancy I got a speal peegnancy jewlery which is a longer barbell made out of plastic which bends more easily and gives space to ur growing belly. Look up pregnancy belly piercing jewlery. My belly button piercing was not messed up because I used the correct jewlery.
