We're staying by my brother for Shabbos and I'm trying to decide on a gift. Their daughter is almost 2, I was thinking to maybe get her a toy. Any suggestions? Thanks!

A doll carriage with a dolly...(inexpensive of course) (Amazing Savings should have something)

A think a doll and carriage are spot on. Baby doll bottle and blanket in place of the stroller would also be a big hit. Every little girl I know that age loves this type of thing.

Thanks! I know she already has a carriage and doll, tons of books, and building blocks. Would it be better to get something for my brother and sil? Would you rather gifts for yourself or your children?

Be good, I just checked the book. I love "is it Shabbos yet"! I think I'll get that. Can a 2 year old understand it?

I wouldn't specifically get 'Is It Shabbos Yet' for a 2 year old. Maybe rather 'Mitzvah Hands' or 'Who Am I' which are more geared towards that age.
For you sister in-law you can get flowers, a fruit platter, a tray for shabbos or a bowl for dips which they sell for not much everywhere (not sure where you live). A nice bottle of wine is always appreciated. It's really the thought that counts.
